Ronald McDonald Family Lounge

Located on the fifth floor of Golisano Children’s Hospital, our Ronald McDonald Family Lounge is a welcoming, home-like space for families steps away from their children in the hospital. As guests enter the room, Ronald McDonald House Buffalo volunteers are there to greet them. This special room allows families to take a break from the hospital’s stress, providing a moment of relaxation and a chance to recharge while staying close to their child’s bedside. Complimentary beverages and snacks are available. For added convenience, our Ronald McDonald Family Laundry Room is located just across the hall.

Family Lounge Hours of Operation

The Ronald McDonald Family Lounge at Golisano Children’s Hospital is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-3:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 8 am-11:30 am.

We invite all families with a patient in the hospital to visit our room for complimentary beverages and snacks.

Our Ronald McDonald Hospitality Cart visits patient floors on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Our Family Laundry

Located across the hall from our Ronald McDonald Family Lounge, our Family Laundry Room provides families with a space to wash their clothes or their child’s favorite blanket and toy.  Families will find:

  • 24/7 Access to Laundry Room
  • Complimentary detergent
